Detox helps to reset the body's internal system thus reducing inflammation. Creating a higher alkaline environment (eating lots of greens and alkaline forming foods) gives free radicals and toxins less chance to thrive. Your body expends a great deal of energy defending itself from accumulated toxic invaders. This leaves less energy and room for your body to perform it's primary function of absorbing essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Just like old and worn out clothes accumulates in your closet, so does the remnants of food that your body has been unable to process over years. A cleaning out or purging is needed in order to make room for a new wardrobe, just as it is for the body to clear out what is not useful to make space to be able to absorb new incoming nutrition.
For the duration of your Detox, refrain from taking supplements. You want to clear out all the debris first to be able to absorb nutrition optimally.
During and after your cleanse it is very important to choose to eat only organic foods as much as you can. Doesn't make sense to continue eating pesticide and artificially infected foods considering these are the culprits of a toxic environment. This includes GMO and processed foods.
Here are a few simple, easy to incorporate methods tried and tested by yours truly Ruby and recommended. Like anything do your own research to determine whether it is right for you.
Colon cleanse: Psyllium Husk
I took a table spoon in a big glass of water each evening a few hours after dinner for 2 weeks.
Liver cleanse: Grapefruit & lemons on a regular
Parasite cleanse: Diatomaceous Earth
Make sure its food grade. I took 1 heaping teaspoon with water in a glass before bed and one in the morning. Now I take some on occasion for good measure.
After cleanse super supplement for inflammation:
Curcumin (at least 300mg)
extract from the turmeric root.
Many studies showing it may be an anti-cancer agent.
